Arno Therapeutics, Inc. is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company that develops and commercializes innovative products for the treatment of cancer patients. Arno's pipeline consists of three drug candidates in development.

Arno's lead clinical development compound is AR-12, a potential first-in-class, orally available PI3-k/Akt inhibitor which is enrolling patients with advanced or recurrent solid tumors or lymphoma in a Phase I clinical study. Arno's second drug candidate, AR-67, is a novel, third-generation camptothecin analogue, which is enrolling patients in a Phase II study with myelodysplastic syndrome, or MDS, a group of pre-malignant blood disorders marked by abnormal production of blood cells by the bone marrow. Arno is enrolling patients in a Phase II study with glioblastoma multiforme, or GBM, a highly aggressive form of brain cancer. Arno's third drug candidate, AR-42, is an orally available, targeted inhibitor of the Pan-HDAC pathways that received FDA acceptance of its IND in the first quarter of 2009. Arno is in discusssions with potential sponsors and collaborators to conduct a Phase I study.
